OPTION: Return to Auckland by Train

*Return to Auckland via the Northern Explorer Train ($60 supplement per person)

Experience the North Island’s extraordinary range of scenery in one journey, the Northern Explorer takes you through rolling green farmland and virgin bush, past quaint country towns and along rocky coasts.  The journey through Tongariro National Park, with its three spectacular volcanic mountains – Tongariro, Ngauruhoe and Ruapehu—is a highlight, a place of extremes and surprises, where snow-blanketed fields, ancient lava flows, and dense beech forests can be seen side by side.

Train departs Wellington at 7.55 a.m. and arrives Auckland at 6.50 p.m.

We will still transfer you from the train station and take you back to your home address.

Please note: The itinerary below is a general guide, and the night you attend the show may vary depending on the date. Be sure to confirm which night you’ll be seeing the WOW show when making your booking.

Day 1: Fly to Wellington: - (Dinner)

We’ll be picked up from our homes anywhere in the greater Auckland, Tauranga, or Christchurch areas and taken to the airport for a short flight to Wellington. On arrival, we’ll be greeted by our coach and driver and transferred to the 4-star central Novotel Wellington. The rest of the day is free to relax.

After an early dinner at the hotel, it’s time for the highlight of our stay—a transfer to the TSB Bank Arena for an incredible non-stop two-hour Wearable Art Show! We’ve secured Platinum tickets for fantastic views and included a complimentary souvenir programme. What a night to remember!

Day 2: Free day : - (Breakfast/Dinner)

Today is yours to soak in the sights and sounds of this beautiful city. A visit to Te Papa and The Dominion Museum is a must, along with exploring other museums and galleries, enjoying a free tour of the Parliament Buildings, or taking a cable car ride to the Botanical Garden. There’s so much to see and experience! Dinner will be served at the hotel tonight.

Day 3: Wairarapa: - (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

After a hearty buffet breakfast, we board our coach for a delightful day in the scenic Wairarapa. Our first stop is historic Greytown, known for its beautifully restored Victorian buildings and excellent shops—perfect for a bit of retail therapy. Then it’s on to Martinborough, a charming village centered around a grand square, with the iconic Martinborough Hotel proudly welcoming visitors at its entrance. Back in 1882, developer Edmund Buckeridge called it “one of the finest hostelries ever erected in any inland town in New Zealand.” We enjoy a light lunch here before heading back to Wellington in the late afternoon, with dinner awaiting us at the hotel tonight.

Day 4: Return Home: - (Breakfast)

This morning begins with another delicious buffet breakfast, followed by some free time for personal sightseeing or shopping. After checking out, our luggage will be safely stored at the hotel until we transfer to the airport for our homeward flight. Upon arrival at our homeport, we’ll be met and taken to our home addresses in the greater Auckland, Tauranga, or Christchurch areas.
