It’s billed as the first one-stop gardening lifestyle hub in Asia.  We end the tour with a leisurely stroll along Singapore’s highest pedestrian bridge—Henderson Waves and take in the lush greenery from Mount Faber and Telok Blangah Hill.

We spend another day at Gardens by the Bay, home to a diverse collection of over 1.5 million plants that hail from every continent except Antarctica. Opened in 2012, Gardens by the Bay was born from Singapore’s ambition to evolve from a “Garden City” into a “City in a Garden.” It’s now one of the country’s most beloved attractions, drawing millions with its blend of horticultural excellence and cutting-edge design. Enjoy this spectacle in your own time and at your own pace.

Day 6: 06 July 2026 (B, HT)

This morning is at leisure.  After lunch we  join our coach and guide and our tour starts at the Singapore River—the lifeline of Singapore where the first immigrants eked out a meagre living and saw Singapore transform from an obscure little fishing village to a great seaport.

Admire beautifully restored warehouses that now house chic Quayside dining and entertainment spots and the contrasting skyscrapers of the Financial District.  Then  marvel at the magnificent colonial buildings and five grand old bridges before stopping at our destination. The Fullerton Hotel Singapore.  Enjoy a delightful three tier afternoon tea served in the sun-lit courtyard with its magnificent high glass ceiling. Favourite items are replenishable and complimented by a free flow of premium teas and coffee.  Walk it all off at the Fullerton Heritage Gallery or mail a post card home through the colonial-style Red Pillar Post Box located at the gallery. Let our guide take you back in time from when it was a Fortress built at the mouth of the Singapore River to the first General Post Office in the early 20th century and now the beautifully restored hotel, Singapore’s 71st National  Monument.  We have left tonight free for your “own choice” dinner.

Day 7: 07 July 2026(B, D)

Fort Canning Park, an iconic hilltop landmark has witnessed many of Singapore’s historical milestones.  The hill once sited the palaces of 14th Century Malay Kings and served as the headquarters of the Far East Command Centre and British Army Barracks.  Today, the 18-hectare space is chock full of attractions—from ancient artefacts for history buffs to outdoor lawns and greenery for nature lovers. We then enjoy a walk through the Spice Garden which sits on the original site of the first Botanic Garden and uncover the intricacies of Spices and herbs that go into Peranakan cooking.

Tonight we enjoy dinner in the comfort of a local restaurant along the famous Singapore River. After dinner we hop onto a Bumboat for a cruise along the Singapore River to see Singapore lit up at night showcasing beautifully restored shop houses, modern skyscrapers of the financial district, colonial buildings and the iconic Merlion statue.  A lovely end to our stay here in Singapore.
